FRIDAY RACE REFRESHMENTS

In 2025, we will provide different refreshments for individual runners and two- and three-member teams than for four-, five-, and six-member teams. Therefore, please carefully study the refreshment point layout at the bottom of the page to avoid any misunderstandings about how individual competitors and their green-numbered cyclist companions, the green-numbered 2-3 member ultra-running teams, and the blue-numbered 4-5-6 member teams can receive refreshments during the race!

This distinction is necessary, as ultra runners require specific extra refreshments to complete the race successfully. The challenge of an ultra-distance race largely depends on whether participants receive the appropriate refreshments throughout the event.

Please respect the rules regarding the extra refreshment table!

There will be over 40 refreshment points available throughout the race to help replenish lost fluids and calories. In 2025, refreshments will be available not only to the competitor running that segment but to all team members with a race number.

Both individual runners, their green-numbered cyclist companions, and the members of 2-3 member ultra-running teams can refresh inside the tent; only ultra-runners with green race numbers and green-numbered cyclist companions may enter after a race number check.

Teams with four, five, or six members can receive refreshments from outside the tent. For supporters accompanying the field, other runners on the course, and spectators, refreshments are not provided. Cyclists with red race numbers who are accompanying teams will be provided with refreshments only at eight points outside the tent along the course.

REFRESHMENTS FOR INDIVIDUALS AND 2-3 MEMBER TEAMS

There will be 45 refreshment points available during the race to help you replenish lost fluids and calories.

At the refreshment points, you can expect the following:

  • Salty sticks
  • Sweet oat cookies
  • Milka chocolate
  • Olives
  • Trappist cheese
  • Buttered and jam-covered bread
  • Salt
  • Pineapple or peach preserves
  • Dried plums
  • Cranberries
  • Peanuts
  • Pickles
  • Lemon

 

REFRESHMENTS FOR 4-5-6 MEMBER TEAMS

During the race, we will provide you with 45 refreshment points to help replenish lost fluids and calories. Outside the tents at the refreshment points, you can find the following items:

  • Theodora mineral water
  • BioTechUSA isotonic sports drink
  • Bananas
  • Salt sticks
  • Glucose
  • Raisins

#RUNGREEN
In 2025, the race will again be organized with an eco-friendly approach. There will be no disposable plastic cups at the refreshment points; instead, you can receive refreshments in your own cup, soft cup, or a water bottle rented at the competition center. Waste generated during the race will be sorted and sent for recycling.
