We kindly ask all affected participants to read the following carefully! ☺️
 
⏱ Timing chips
Please bring the timing chip deposit (HUF 5,000 or less) in cash. The amount will be refunded at the finish area after the race.
 
You can also donate your chip deposit to charity after finishing within the BioTechUSA NN Ultrabalaton Charity program. Donors receive a special shaker and a dedicated finish photo!
 
📲 StafétApp application
For large teams, chip timing is not mandatory, but strongly recommended—make sure to scan at each checkpoint so your team can track runners in the app.

⚠️ Checkpoints do not accept runners outside opening hours!
 
🚴 Lead cyclists
At the start, lead cyclists ride in front of the field and must NOT be overtaken. This is crucial for permits and checkpoint operations.
 
👉 Especially for teams starting in the first 4 hours: plan your order accordingly (start with slower runners).
❗ Overtaking the lead cyclists results in immediate disqualification.
 
🍝 Pasta Party
Friday 16:00–20:00 at the race center (for the first 5,000 participants).
 
🎊 Opening ceremony
Friday, April 24 at 19:00 in the main tent. Your presence is highly appreciated!
 
🚗 Transport & parking
NEW: A 20,000 m² parking area is available 700 meters from the race center.
 
No parking at Annagora.
Spar parking is also unavailable.
 
👉 Please use the designated parking area and leave unused cars at your accommodation.
 
🔢 Bib & wristband
Bib wearing is mandatory (includes emergency number).
Certain services require a wristband.

🚲 Cycling escorts
Escorts can start together with teams and may enter the start zone for group photos.
 
❗ IMPORTANT:
Cyclists may only ride in front of or behind runners—not alongside. Violations result in immediate disqualification.
 
🏁 Start times
 
⚠️ Late teams will start at the end and checkpoint access cannot be guaranteed.

🖇 Combining stages
To avoid congestion, we recommend combining stages. This simplifies logistics and reduces parking issues.
 
📱 Mobile phone
We recommend carrying a phone with the NN UB app and StafétApp installed.
 
🚾 Toilets
Where no built facilities exist, 4 mobile toilets will be provided.
Please use bins—do not throw trash into toilets.
 
🍫 Refreshments
Water and isotonic drinks at all checkpoints.
Over 7 tons of bananas distributed throughout the race.
Also available: glucose tablets, raisins, salty crackers.
 
♻️ #rungreen
Bring your own cup or bottle—no plastic cups provided.
You can hand in collected waste from escort cars at any checkpoint.
 
🚗 Escort vehicles
Driving alongside runners is strictly prohibited. Violators will be immediately disqualified.
 
🅿️ Parking at checkpoints
Parking may be limited—please be patient and cooperative.
 
🚆 Traffic rules
All participants must follow traffic regulations.
No time compensation at railway crossings—cross only with a white signal.
Violations result in disqualification.
 
🌙 Night sections
Headlamp is mandatory after sunset.
Random checks will be conducted—without it, runners cannot continue.
 
🏅 Medal distribution – via StafétApp 🤩
Medals can be collected after the final timing point, before the finish arch.
 
👉 Use the QR code in the “race kit / medal pick-up” section of the StafétApp.
👉 One team member can collect medals for the whole team.
👉 All team members will receive a push notification about who collected them.
 
📷 Free photos
Photos at the start and finish can be downloaded for free from NN Biztosító.
 
On-course photos will also be available (not guaranteed for everyone).
 
🏆 Award ceremony
Sunday at 18:00
 
👉 Awards are given only during the ceremony.
👉 Podium finishers must attend in person.
👉 No later distribution or shipping of awards.
