Dear Bike Tour Participants!
Please read the following post carefully!

Timing
There is no timing for the bike tour. Trust us, don’t focus on finishing quickly—just enjoy the beautiful route and the race atmosphere.
However, please note: the finish area will close at 3:00 AM on Monday morning!

Opening Ceremony
The official opening of the weekend takes place on April 25 at 19:00 (7 PM). Your presence would greatly add to the atmosphere of the event!

Safety Gear
Wearing a helmet is mandatory throughout the entire tour! After sunset, front and rear bike lights are also mandatory!

Start Zone for Bikers
The mass start on Sunday will take place in the Spar parking lot on Tihanyi Street, where we’ve set up a separate start zone just for you.
We’ll also be welcoming you back here at the finish!

Traffic and Parking at the Race Center
To avoid congestion, one-way traffic will be in effect throughout the race center parking area during the event weekend. Parking attendants will help direct you.
If the race center parking area is full, we will close it off. In this case, you can use the underground garages in Balatonfüred, the Tesco parking lot, or Tihanyi main road (all 5–15 minutes’ walk away).
Also, please do not leave unused vehicles in the race center over the weekend—leave them at your accommodations instead.

Bib Number and Wristband
Wearing your bib is mandatory—it contains the emergency contact number.

Start
Cyclists accompanying teams can start either with the team or at different times. You are welcome to enter the start zone for the group photo and join the official start.
Official start time: April 27, 2025, at 9:00 AM, from the bike tour start zone.
You may also start between 6:00 and 9:00 AM.
⚠️ Please note: refreshment points are scheduled based on a 6:00 AM start and a 20 km/h average speed. If you start earlier or ride faster, refreshment points may not be open when you arrive.
The bike tour mass start will be from the Spar parking lot on Tihanyi Street.
❗️IMPORTANT!
On the first 80 km of the race, for safety reasons, accompanying cyclists must ride either in front of or behind the runner. We will enforce this rule strictly, and any violations will result in immediate disqualification from the event.

We recommend carrying a mobile phone and downloading the StafétApp. Bike tour participants will also receive their starter packages through the app.

We’re providing multiple mobile toilets at each relay point.
Each will be cleaned twice during the event to maintain hygiene for all participants.
Please only dispose of trash in the designated bins between the toilets—do not throw anything into the toilets as it can cause blockages!
You can also hand your waste over to the staff at refreshment points.

Refreshment Points
You’ll find refreshments at the following eight stations only. These are scheduled based on a 6:00 AM start and a 20 km/h average speed:
20 km – Zánka Erzsébet Tábor
53 km – Szigliget
73.8 km – Keszthely
98.2 km – Balatonfenyves
126.2 km – Balatonszemes
152.6 km – Siófok (University of Debrecen)
177.3 km – Balatonkenese
197.8 km – Alsóörs
Each bike refreshment station will be clearly marked with a large bike-themed installation, so you can easily spot where to stop.

Support Vehicles
It is strictly forbidden to accompany participants by car at walking speed during the first 80 km!
This is essential for the safety of participants and the smooth flow of traffic.
Motorbike marshals will support vehicle movement and monitor rule enforcement. Any violations will result in immediate disqualification.

Parking for Support Vehicles
Be prepared: parking spaces near many relay points are limited.

Night Riding
For your safety, after sunset, functional front and rear bike lights are mandatory.
We may check compliance at a random location. Without proper lighting, cyclists will not be allowed to continue!

Medal Distribution
Medals will only be given to bike tour participants upon showing their bib number at the finish.

Free Photos
Make sure to smile when you arrive at the finish—photos will be taken here and uploaded to the NN Biztosító website, where you can download them for free after the event.
You may also spot Futófotó photographers along the route!
Please note: due to the crowd size, we cannot guarantee individual photos at every location.

Closing Ceremony
The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday at 15:30 (3:30 PM). We’d love to see you there to celebrate together!
