RACE PACK PICKUP
The condition for collecting your race pack is the completed liability waiver!
You can pick up your race pack before the event at our Budapest office located at 1134 Tüzér utca 9-11, or in Balatonfüred at the race center on Thursday or Friday, prior to the starts. (The exact schedule for race pack pickup will be announced before the event.)

REGISTRATION
Registration for the XIX. NN Ultrabalaton for two-, three-, four-, five-, and six-person teams will open on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 7:19 PM! A personal profile is essential for registration, which can be created by clicking HERE.
Your data can be modified at any time. Please ensure that your name is saved according to Hungarian rules, meaning LAST NAME first, FIRST NAME last. This is significant for registrations made through Gmail.

In case of personal cash payments, individual participants can choose one gift item from previous years while supplies last! (Please note that we cannot provide a full size assortment for gift t-shirts, and last year’s headlamps and soft cups are also available in limited quantities. Therefore, we can only guarantee this promotion while stock lasts. Thank you for your understanding!)
ATTENTION!
We are unable to accept postal checks.
If the registration fee is initiated via postal check, the bank will immediately return it.
The registration fee must be transferred in one lump sum.
Invoices can only be issued to the name and address provided during registration; we cannot break down invoices.
Separately received fees will be refunded to the sender after deducting bank charges!
PAYMENT
Following successful registration, team captains will receive an email detailing which account number (for bank transfer or personal payment at our competition office) they should use to pay the total amount by January 15, 2025, for 2-3-4-5-6 person teams. An invoice will be sent in compliance with accounting regulations. IMPORTANT! Please set the billing information accurately. Team registrations that do not paid by the specified deadline will be automatically canceled, and their spots will be filled later.
TEAM SIZE LIMITS
- 100 two-person teams
- 100 three-person teams
- 120 four-person teams
- 140 five-person teams
- 100 six-person teams
Captains of the top 1-3 teams from the 2024 NN Ultrabalaton, the Fighters’ Run Lupa, the Burger King UTT-130, and the Burger King Ultrabalaton Trail qualifying teams, as well as those who won entry rights in prize draws, will receive notification via email—they will be able to register and select their start times before general registration opens. The pre-registration and start time selection period is from September 12, 2024, 19:19 to September 17, 2024, 23:59.
NOTE TO TEAM CAPTAINS
On September 26, 2024, when registering two-, three-, four-, five-, and six-person teams, we will require the following information:
- Team Name
- Category (men’s team // women’s team // mixed)
- Team Size (non-modifiable)
- Planned lap time for the 211 km loop (the team’s planned lap time can be modified until March 1, 2025, via the captain’s personal profile); the maximum lap time for two-person teams is 30 hours, for three-person teams 29 hours, for four-person teams 28 hours, and for five- and six-person teams 27 hours.
- Athletes’ sizes can be modified until September 30, 2024, but after the race, we will provide an athlete exchange option depending on remaining capacity.
- Billing name and address (for companies, the company name, billing address, and tax number must be provided)
You can register only one team from a single profile; if you wish to register multiple teams, we recommend designating all team captains in advance.
If you would like a cycling companion for the team, they must register for the McDonald’s BringaMánia Ultrabalaton Bike Tour using their own profile; during registration, they must select that they are a “TEAM SUPPORTING CYCLING TOUR PARTICIPANT” and provide the name of the team they are accompanying.
Please specify any special dietary requirements (vegetarian/normal).

FOR YOUR BICYCLING ESCORTS
Cycling around Lake Balaton, even at your own pace, is a significant challenge, but as a cycling escort, adjusting to the runner’s pace is a remarkable achievement. We would like to support those escorts who may spend up to 30 hours in the saddle with the following:
- Unique race number (which identifies them at the refreshment stations)
- Refreshments at a total of eight points
- Their finisher medal ribbon will differ from that of the runners
CYCLING ESCORTS
If the team wishes to have a cycling escort, they must register for the McDonald’s BringaMánia Ultrabalaton Cycling Tour using their own profile. During registration, they must select that they are a „TEAM ESCORT CYCLING TOUR PARTICIPANT” and provide the name of the team they will be accompanying.
TIMING
Timing will be conducted via an online system at designated points. The use of timing points is mandatory for 2-3-4-5-6 member teams; a MAXIMUM OF TWO stations may be skipped! Teams that skip more than this may be disqualified from the race.
IMPORTANT!
Time credits will not be applied at railway crossings. Throughout the 211 km, we may manually record the passage of competitors at several points that are not announced in advance.
CHIP DEPOSIT FEE – BIOTECHUSA NN ULTRABALATON CHARITY PROGRAM
Upon receiving the race packet, teams will be given chips in exchange for a deposit of 5000 HUF. We cannot accept banknotes larger than 5000 HUF when paying the deposit.
Remember, the BioTechUSA NN Ultrabalaton Charity will also take place in 2025! Within the framework of the Charity Program, you will have the opportunity to donate the chip deposit for charitable purposes, which is voted on every year by the NN Ultrabalaton and BioTechUSA community! In return for charity donations, we will also present you with gifts in 2025!

Chips that are not returned at the finish area will be refunded until May 9, 2025.
TIME LIMITS
- 30 hours for two-member teams
- 29 hours for three-member teams
- 28 hours for four-member teams

TECHNICAL MEETING
On the Thursday evening before the race, starting at 5:00 PM, a technical meeting will be held exclusively for individual participants and two-, three-, four-, five-, and six-member teams in both Hungarian and English. This will be an opportunity to ask any questions you may have to the Organizers.
START TIMES
Starting this year, teams will be sent off individually on Friday, allowing for photos to be taken of each team. (The exact start times for teams will be announced by March 10, 2025.)
ROUTE
The 211-kilometer race route will follow a safe bicycle path. You can view the list of relay and refreshment points HERE!
REFRESHMENTS FOR 2-3 MEMBER TEAMS
There will be 45 refreshment points available during the race to help you replenish lost fluids and calories.
At the refreshment points, you can expect the following:

During the race, we will provide you with 45 refreshment points to help replenish lost fluids and calories. Outside the tents at the refreshment points, you can find the following items:

- Glucose
- Raisins
#RUNGREEN
In 2025, the race will again be organized with an eco-friendly approach. There will be no disposable plastic cups at the refreshment points; instead, you can receive refreshments in your own cup, soft cup, or a water bottle rented at the competition center. Waste generated during the race will be sorted and sent for recycling.
WINE CELLAR RUN
The route will pass through the Varga Winery’s cellar at the 39.5 km mark, which can be accessed via a staircase. The temperature here is expected to be lower, and humidity will be higher than outside.
OPENING HOURS OF THE FINISH AREA
The finish area will open after the first individual finisher arrives, but no later than 01:00 the day after the start.
MASSAGE
After the race, massages will be available at the individual finish area.
AWARDS CEREMONY
As per tradition, the awards ceremony will be held on Sunday at the same time as the large team awards. We will provide front-row seating for individual competitors. Awards will only be presented during the awards ceremony! We kindly ask the podium athletes to honor the event and their competitors with their presence at the ceremony. Awards will not be presented or mailed to those who are late.
MEDICAL SUPERVISION
A medical team will accompany the runners, with ambulances and motorbikes on standby. You can find their contact number on your race number. Please pay special attention to fellow runners who may be in distress! If the medical team determines that a competitor is unfit to continue, they may remove the runner’s race number and disqualify them from the event.

PHOTOS
Photos taken at the start and finish will be available for free download after the race from the NN Insurance website. Please note that due to the high number of participants, we cannot guarantee that everyone will have a photo taken, so it’s a good idea to have an enthusiastic photographer among your companions!
Throughout the route, professional photographers from Futófotó will take pictures of you, which can be searched by race number on the futofoto.hu website!
OUR RUNNING ETHIC
During the NN Ultrabalaton, we are guests of Lake Balaton. We would like to return the lake and its surroundings in at least as clean a state as we found them, but we need your cooperation to achieve this! The local communities warmly welcome us each year. Our race is known for its good atmosphere, but we ask you to respect the peace of the residents along the route and those who are not participating in the race!
Help fellow runners in trouble, even if it means you lose time.
We are runners. We do not distinguish ourselves by skin color, religion, gender, or age. It doesn’t matter where we come from or how fast we go. What unites us is our love for sport and the mutual respect we have for each other and the distance.
The helpers at the stations will cheer you on and assist you to the best of their ability.
True, this is a race, but please keep the rules of fair play in mind at all times! Win or lose, do so cleanly and with your head held high, following both the written and unwritten rules! Do it not for others, but for yourself. This will make the experience unforgettable and will make you an inseparable part of what we call the NN ULTRABALATON.
